臨床意義：
Appearance：正常人胸水，腹水及心包膜液都很少。
若有積水時，又可分為Transudate及Exudate。
Transudate為yellow/clear，無clot。
Exudate則不一定clear或turbid，yellow，reddish，brown，bloody甚至chylous或purulent都可能，且常有fibrin clot產生
Sp.gr. Transudate 通常＜1.018，Exudate則常＞1.015
Protein Transudate通常呈陰性，Exudate則常為陽性
Cell count 通常WBC數量在Transudate＜1000/cmm，而Exudate則常＞1000/cmm D.C. 通常Transudate以單核細胞為主，Exudate則以Neutrophil為主
